In Jagatballavpur’s Mayeda Pukur area, a burglary occurred around 1 AM on Saturday at Maa Kali Bhandar, a grocery shop. Four to five suspects cut the rear window of the shop and stole goods estimated to be worth several lakhs. The entire incident was recorded by the shop’s CCTV cameras.
The stolen items included all the goods stored inside the shop, resulting in a substantial loss. The incident caused alarm among local residents. Following the report, police from Jagatballavpur police station arrived at the scene to begin an investigation.
Authorities are examining the CCTV footage and gathering information from witnesses to identify the suspects. The police have initiated steps to investigate the case thoroughly and have urged shopkeepers to remain vigilant.
